S.O.S. — Shepherds of Service is our Parish Ministry which brings us together as a faith family to respond to the needs of the homeless, hungry, lonely, elderly, infirm and marginalized in our greater community

One parishioner…One task…One time.

2020 celebrates a milestone for S.O.S. YEAR 10 and offers 91 OPPORTUNITIES for parishioners to help people in need:

* 72 Service Activities for ADULTS to participate in (High School age and above)

Each Activity
* gathers us together to share our time & talent to impact the lives of at-risk, marginalized individuals
* has an SCS parishioner as its identified S.O.S. Activity Leader
* is at no cost to participants (other than our NEW “Assemble & Freeze” Activity for Eva’s)
* is about 2 HOURS
* offers CAR POOL for off-premise Activities that are not nearby (the furthest is 10 miles away).

Our 12-page S.O.S. 2020 Brochure contains

To date, HUNDREDS of SCS men, women and children have performed Services that impacted the lives of  tens of thousands of our neighbors in need.
Some Parishioners participated once, some dozens of times. ALL impacted a life.
How much you get involved is up to YOU.

Some S.O.S. Activities have limitations on the number of participants. This reflects organization needs/ directives as well as our ministry goal to ensure that there is sufficient activity for S.O.S. participants to be effectively and meaningfully engaged.
