Worship Cluster of Ministries

Ann C. Mega

When mourning the loss of a loved one, the Funeral Mass is important to help grieving relatives and friends understand God’s mercy and love. Many times, seeing a familiar face brings comfort to the grief-stricken and reminds them that St. Catherine’s is a caring, compassionate Parish.
Adults are needed to serve at Funeral Liturgies as Altar Servers, Lectors and Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist. Ministers serve, at their convenience, on mornings through the week for an hour and a half, once or twice a month, on average.
Volunteers can be trained as Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist, Lectors or Servers.
