St. Catherine’s Society for Seniors is a Heritage Fund program for active seniors in the community.
Introducing a setting for seniors to meet and interact was the highest ranking program priority identified in the consultation survey we conducted in April 2013.
The program evolves around four elements – Spiritual, Social, Educational and Ministry
The Society for Seniors began in August 2014 and meets once a month, on the second Wednesday, from 10:00 a.m. – noon in the Lower Church (unless otherwise noted). The themes of the meetings vary each month, and at several throughout the year a luncheon is offered. Meetings begin with a prayer, refreshments are served and interesting topics are presented.
This is all coordinated through the leadership team listed below.
