Marriage Preparation
A process that provides engaged couples of our parish an opportunity to reflect on their relationship and their expectations. It is facilitated by married couples of the parish, known as "Support Couples."

Each engaged couple is assigned to a support couple who welcomes the couple into their home for three gatherings. Hospitality and sharing of life experiences are offered. Values, spirituality and intimacy are discussed and the engaged couple privately share their reflections. Support couples are asked to sponsor two engaged couples per year. Interested married couples are asked to consider serving as a support couple.

Marriage Enrichment
A ministry we dream of for married couples who desire to live "happily ever after." The design/shape is up to us to create. It could include gatherings of discussion, sharing, support among couples, and special happenings such as evenings of reflection and/or guest speakers. If you are interested in being a part of the creation of this ministry, please let us know.

Religious Education (CCD)
Classes provide our parish youth in first through eighth grades the opportunity to experience Jesus and learn about the teachings of the Church through class activities, prayer, celebrations and faith sharing. Classes meet weekly, Wednesday or Sunday (dependent on grade level), in our parish school and in homes, for 26 weeks starting in September. All grade-level parishioners are invited.

Catechists receive training and support in September and January, and lead a specific grade through the 26-week program. New catechists receive certification through a six-session course. There is always a need for catechists who are willing to share their faith with our parish youth.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA/Catechumate)
A process for those coming to faith and entering into the Catholic Church. These candidates prepare for the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, First Eucharist) by growing in prayer and commitment to Christ and gospel values, and by participating in the life of our church. Adults and children of catechetical age should contact our parish office.

R.C.I.A. team members serve as welcomers, pray-ers, catechists and sponsors. They meet with interested candidates for question and answer time regarding the practices and teachings of the Catholic faith. After the celebration of the Rite of Acceptance, candidates and team members meet weekly to celebrate the Liturgy of the Word at Sunday Mass and faith sharing, prayer and preparation for Initiation into the Catholic Church. Fully initiated parishioners, committed to sharing their faith and desiring to welcome/accompany new church members on their journey, are encouraged to join this ministry.
