Pastoral
Council
The leadership body that helps define, direct and advance our parish mission.
This is accomplished through on-going evaluation, visioning, planning,
recommendation, refinement and implementation of parish ministries and
needs as well as through stewardship of parishioners' time and talent.
Accordingly,
our parish activities are grouped into four ministerial clusters, each
devoted to one of the following four dynamics:

The
Council is comprised of twelve people: nine parishioners discerned from
the four parish ministry clusters and appointed by the Pastor; two staff
members; and the Pastor. The parishioners' three-year terms are staggered,
with one-third of the members beginning a new rotation annually. Monthly
meetings, usually on the fourth Thursday, are presided over by the Chairperson
or Vice Chairperson. Twice yearly it meets as a Combined Council to include
the ministry leaders from all parish ministries.
