About the Rosary
It appears that the genesis of what we know today as "praying the rosary" goes back as far as the 2nd Century A.D. However the first clear historical references to what we now know as the Rosary appear in the 13th Century. See EWTN, The Holy Rosary.org and The Rosary Center for more information.
