The cornerstone of the church of St Catherine of Siena was laid in 1951.
The church is built in the modifed Gothic style. Following the church building tradition, most of St Catherine's windows were designed as stained glass windows. The stained glass windows represent the Joyful and Glorious mysteries of the Rosary.
We are posting information about the windows of St Catherine's.
We will provide historical and background information regarding the technique of stained glass.
We will provide information related to the history and meaning of the Rosary.
Most important we will provide information on each of our stained glass windows.
Each window was donated by an individual or a family from the parish at the time the church was being built. Over time we hope to provide historical or biographical information about all the donors. These people were founding members of our parish. Their generosity helped to beautify the church in which we worship now more than 50 years later.
This section of our website is a work in progress. As information becomes available we will update these pages. Please come back often.
