Family Mass
SCS offers a weekly Family Mass which presents Liturgy that is meaningful and relevant to young families. Family Mass is scheduled on Sundays at 9:15 A in the Lower Church, September through June.
Parishioners with a love of Liturgy and its role in the lives of young families are invited to share in our Ministry.
Funeral Liturgy
When mourning the loss of a loved one, the Funeral Mass is important to help grieving relatives and friends understand God's mercy and love. Many times, seeing a familiar face brings comfort to the grief-stricken and reminds them that St. Catherine's is a caring, compassionate Parish.
Adults are needed to serve at Funeral Liturgies as Greeters, Altar Servers, Lectors and Eucharistic Ministers. Ministers serve, at your convenience, on mornings through the week.

The residents of Cedar Grove nursing homes are brought the gifts of Eucharist and compassion through this Ministry.
Adults of mature faith, who are suited to this Ministry and have completed a formation process, are needed.
Plant Care
The plants and flowers in Church require care to maintain a neat Liturgical environment.
Many hands make light work.
Liturgy of the Word for Children
During summer, Parishioners aged 5-10 benefit from this special Liturgy during the 9:15 Mass.
For eight weeks, our children are led by Leaders of Prayer and Song from the Upper Church to the Lower Church for age-appropriate Liturgy comprised of the First Reading, Psalm, Gospel, brief homily, Creed and Intercessions. The Readings are presented in a simple fashion and the homily is a message prepared specifically for this age group. This is a beautiful way to draw our children into the essence of the Liturgy, Prayer and Worship of our God.
Co-Leaders are needed. They are provided with all the necessary materials and required to participate on Sundays for eight weeks,
Music Ministry
'He who sings, prays twice' - St Augustine
St Catherine's Liturgies, Services, and special Presentations are greatly enriched by the voices, music and faith of our Music Ministry. We are all led to more fervent prayer and worship through their music.
'All kinds of voices' of every age are needed for our Choir. There's a place for everyone. All that's required is a love and desire to sing or play your instrument... and a commitment to rehearsals, though it is understood that sometimes you are unable to be with us.

Rosary Society
Devotion to Our Lady and support of worthy, charitable causes are the focus of this group of female parishioners.
Monthly meetings feature praying the Rosary and often include a presentation on an area of interest, such as Children's Autism or People in Crisis. Members also assist in other Parish work or with Church activities.
All female members of our Parish are invited to be a part of this beautiful Ministry.
